I Write For You, Not For Robots

I consider myself a columnist. I write a column and publish it online five days a week. I get no pleasure from robots and spiders walking my site, but it’s gratifying when real people do.
That sums up how I feel too. Too often I see bloggers chasing hits and regurgitating material. Surely it’s better to write about something you care about, or that you think will be useful to others, or that will spark a discussion.
As Randy says, write for people, not robots.
