Nothing but a number

Brilliant project organised by my good pal, Justine Gaubert, founder of Silent Cities, a social enterprise:

We ran a ‘speed-dating’ style session with the young and old, using prompt cards such as ‘what does love feel like’ and ‘do you believe in life after death’, then recorded these conversations. One of the young people from the hostel then took samples of some of these conversations and turned them into a song in just five hours in the studio.

It’s worth mentioning that the young people in this video are or have been homeless. They are tough cookies and to see/hear them working together with much older people is an absolute delight. We should never give up on people.
