William Fiennes on fostering creativity, literacy and talent in schools
This is a fantastic presentation by Fiennes. I love that his writing workshops with young people saw them gain confidence and self-esteem. So brilliant and true:
Fiennes thinks that we all have our own unique voice, and he quotes Philip Pullman on the importance of discovering it: “Real writing can liberate and strengthen young people’s sense of themselves as almost nothing else can.”
