Introducing the all-new Write for Your Life!
So here it is, the redesigned, reorganised Write for Your Life!
First of all, if you’re reading this in an RSS reader or email, you should pop on over to the site. It’s very pretty and we have monsters. Lots of monsters!
You can also watch this short(ish) video, where I talk about the redesign and some of the exciting plans I have in store for the site, including a unique membership scheme and a series of online conferences.
Toot toot! Told you it was exciting.
So, what do you reckon?
Write for Your Life has been very lucky to gain a delightful readership (that’s you!) and your feedback is very important and much appreciated.
Please make yourself at home, take a good look around and get in touch if you see anything that seems out of place. Any whoops of delight or general comments can go in the comments section below, of course.
And feel free to spread the word using our new Retweet and Like buttons!
Thank you!
Of course, I’d like to say that I was entirely behind this lovely new look, but it would be extremely naughty of me. A huge thank you must go to Matt Pearce, the man behind the monsters, and Craig Shaw, who has worked tirelessly to build the site and cater to my every whim.
Cheers chaps. You’ve done a wonderful job.

Lookin lovely Broome, especially all the attention detail on icons for Twitter and RSS feeds. Also nice instant flavour of the Broome tone of voice.
@Lucy Thanks – it’s all in the detail!
@Manuela Welcome any time…
Sparkly, spangly and contentlicious. I’ll be coming here often.
The monsters are great! I like the look of the site, clean yet fun and colorful. Also, thank you for all the articles. The content, as well as the design, is awesome.
Iain, it looks terrific. Love the monsters, love the colours and I like seeing all the articles listed like that.
I think the webinar idea is great too – can’t wait to see that roll out.
@E.Markham Thank you – it wasn’t just about looking good, the idea of the redesign was to improve the site’s usability and to make it easier to get around the content. And yes, the conferences should be great – just need to get a few items crossed off the to do list first.
Looks tres fab, Iain. I’m liking the rocket on the right…and the sort of psychedelic acid rain below.
I’m looking forward to the new podcasts/videos and ooh la la, the membership community!
I love this site. It’s very encouraging and I’m going to order a used copy of Julia Cameron’s book. Thanks for the suggestion. Also, I love your illustrations, they look like a Powerpuff Girl cartoon, which I had a small obsession with.
Thanks for the feedback – glad you like it! For more illustrations, you can check out Matt’s (the designer) site out: http://www.mattpearce.co.uk
